A 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultivating healing spaces where adoptees can retreat, gather, reflect, and grow.
THE HEALING HOME + THE GUESTHOUSE
The first seeds of Morning Calm Healing Homes were planted in 2018 during Amelia Sun’s first motherland trip to South Korea. A calling emerged, rooted in the desire for safe spaces where inter-country adoptees could feel deeply held in their healing.
Today, two neighboring homes in Las Vegas have been slowly cultivated with healing intention. A steady rhythm of mindfulness moves through the Healing Homes, where candlelight and prayer carry hope for adoptees worldwide.
Within these healing homes, quiet rooms are prepared for rest; gathering spaces are set for shared meals and stories; and artful expression inspires understanding and spiritual growth.
Founding Executive Director Amelia Sun, MA, is a Korean American adoptee, psychotherapist, mother, and artist called to steward the vision and spiritual life of Morning Calm Healing Homes.
